Turbulent times are in for Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena, born George Kwabena Adu who is battling several challenges to survive his already ailing music career, Ghanakasa reports.
When it appeared his career had seen a new life, reports reaching Ghanakasa indicates the musician and his current Management are at cross paths over what is yet to be established.
In the wake of these irreconcilable differences, Kwabena Kwabena risked being embarrassed publicly if he fails to cough out an amount of GH¢6,000 he took as a loan from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Loggy Entertainment to pay for the school fees of his ward and other pressing family needs within a stipulated date
It is unclear what could have triggered the incessant demands from Loggy Entertainment to be on the heels of the musician who last year signed a two-year deal with the label but if leaked chats between them is anything to go by then, the deal is nonexistent.
Kwabena Kwabena premiered ‘Takoro Abodwese’ last year which according to the label cost them GH¢125,000 to produce and meant for a particular category of audience.
One of the threatening text messages sent to the musician and intercepted by this portal reads” Kwabena Good morning Before I’ll take u to wherever I’m ready to to get my money invested in your musical career, I need the loan u came for ASAP. The 4,000 cedis u borrow from me to pay your kids school fees and the 2000 cedis u took to fix ur car engine. Advise yourself and bring back my money today. I don’t want to see u anywhere and embarrass you for that money. I’m serious about. As for the rest I spent on the Tokro song I know how to go about it in a lawful way”
